It was during this pondering that I discovered that I really don’t have many secrets.
Sure, there are those I don’t tell anyone and those that have their time and
place, but one so readily available? No. I’m pretty open about who I am; where
I’m at, what my goals are and all the other good stuff that comes along with it.
Then, I found myself thinking about the simple pleasures of life. I have a whole list.
Discovering I have another 30
minutes to sleep.
The post-workout feeling after
a great workout at the gym.
White mochas to be specific.
Catching both the sunrise and
the sunset all within a day’s time.
Taking a walk.
Smells that remind me of home
and bring to mind other good memories – a time with a friend,
Reading a good book on a
Checking something off of my
to-do list. Ah, the accomplishment!
Hand-written letters. Rare and
